Did you get a price from your guy before you decided on the work?? Most interior people can give you a pretty close estimate of the cost of the work. They know what the fabric costs, and all of the incidentals and their labor. Depending on the size of the car, what you want covered, what fabric and special stitching, etc, etc, etc, the price could run from about $1200 to as much as $6,000.
Considering what you want done, it will probably be in the range of $2000 to $4500. Of course the price could vary a lot depending on the availability of time and materials from the interior shop. If they are running slow in work, you could get a bargain rate. If they are loaded with work, likely not.
My 57 Olds had nearly a $1000 in materials alone and that was just carpet and tweed. The good thing for me was the labor, which was free.Last edited by mopar34; 07-17-2008 at 09:59 AM.
