144-200 I6's are some of the easiest, quickest starting engines I'v worked on.. my '67 200 used to fire up by popping the key. after the rebuild ( for turbocharger and other go fast assessories ) It takes a rotation or 2, but it's got no choke now so it's understandableYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
