That's nice there's still stuff that old in yards near you. Nice work on the headers too! That has to be great to be able to steer it again!
Thanks, all. Dave, you busted me; I just picked up a 2.2 Dodge engine for an idea I've had for a long time. I want to build a tube chassis reverse trike using a front wheel drive drivetrain. But that's a story for another thread......:D
I got my radiator and trans cooler in along with several little jobs like starter, dipstick, torque coverter bolts. Also swapped out the valvecovers; I like these much better. The guy that painted the car for me is coming over Sunday to shoot the hood and my next task is to get the fuel system plumbed.
Finally, it's all one color. Didnt think it would ever get there.
Looks good! About time for some cruizin' ????
Sure! After a fuel system, wiring, radiator hoses, fan, exhaust, gauges, brakes, tires, and some seats she'll be ready for a test run!
Heck, you may decide you want to change the colour by then....
:)
I hear that!
Heck, no!! I couldn't take another 5 year paint job! Actually, it shouldn't take all that long compared to how long it took to get to this spot. I'm hoping it will run/move/stop under its own power by years end. Then she and I can order glass & rubber and star sewing up our first interior. (This should be a challenge!)
It looks great Falcon! I hope to get mine to a roller before the new year. We shall see.
Building some inner fenders.....
Wow, those are great! Clean simple design, works every time...
Great work Falcon, they should work just fine!
Thanks for posting this, Give me a few ideas on fixing my own franken innnerfenders!
Got my fenderwells finished and painted today. I'm also building brackets to relocate the coils off of the valve covers and onto the fenderwells.
