I was looking at Classic Performance Parts web site for the appropriate motor mounts for my truck. Their parts description states...Features bolt-in installation and comes with a black powder coat finish. Will accept 429 and 460 motors. Pads are sold separately. Can be cut to fit 28"; and extended to fit 38" wide frame rail spacing. Will not fit Lincoln or Mercury engines. Not designed to work with IFS front end.
What is different about a mercury or lincoln and how can you tell which one you have? Mine just says 460 on the block!
I don't want to drop a ton of money in this if it won't fit!
