help with rear end control arm bushings
wondering what the trick is to install the bushings above the diff on a gm 12 bolt? finally got the old ones out but sure seems tight to merely hammer the new ones in. have the in the freezer now to hope they shrink a little from freezing.1970 El camino,454!!

Some sanding of the housing where the bushing fits, white lithium grease, and a big C-Clamp along with the correct size tubing and a couple pieces of steel.... Takes a bit of rigging to get everything set up, but they should go in easy and a lot easier on the new bushings then pounding the heck out of them with a bfh.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
