    HEI for a 1968 302

    Howdy Group,

I have a 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback with a stock 302 V8. I want to install an electronic ignition system (HEI). I am looking for the easiest to install and most fool-proof system. It would be nice to keep the "look" stock, but most important is reliability, then ease of installation and then cost... looks is dead last.

So does anyone have any advice??
    Thanks

    Ivan

There's always a bunch of Ford plug and play HEI's on eBay that use the GM style coil built in, simple two wire hook up and about $80.00 or less....

Here's a thread on another forum that may be helpful. I bought one for my 302 but don't have it installed yet. I'm anxious to see how it's going to work but it's going to be a while......will report more when I know.
