    Shocks...what kind and where?

I am restoring a 1970 chevelle(frame off). I need shocks. I am new to this so when I went to look for shocks I was overwelmed! I don't want the lowest quality nor do I want racing shocks. I also don't know what size or length will fit the car.

What are some decent hotrod shocks that would work with my car? If you could please post links that would be great. I can do all the price research after I get some information on what I am looking for.

    Thanks,

    Adam

i went with herb adams 3 way adjustable shocks on my 80 Z. he was the suspension designer for GM and he has his own line of parts. you could make them decent for highway use or agressive for canyon carving, all in a few minutes time. i also installed urathane bushings and end links all around. it was like driving a go kart after i was done. it flew down the straights and carved through the corners like a vette, the car was a blast to drive. man i miss that car!!!!

I've used a few different sets of KYB gas charged shocks, been happy with them so far. They have a couple different grades depending on your budget.
