    Throttle linkage

I just installed a victor intake and 750 holley double pumper on my 67 fairlane with a 347 stroker. i pulled off the old linkage and put a straight bar from the gas peddle bar to the carb. when i push the gas peddle to full throttle the carb only opens the primaries and barely opens the secondaries. i still have about another inch to go before the secondaries will fully open, but i have no more peddle for this. does anyone have any idea how i can get the secondaries to open or if there is some type of special linkage that i can buy for this?

Move the carburetor end of the linkage to a hole closer to the throttle shaft. this will cause the carb to open more for the same throttle pedal movement. You may have to drill a hole to get it right.
Anyone can restore an old car, it takes a man to cut one up
