On the Explorer Forum http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...d.php?t=174298 there is a chap who is installing a 1951 Ford F1 onto an 2000 Explorer AWD chassis. He used a V-8 powered Explorer and it seems to be working very well for him. If you didn't want AWD, a 2 wheel drive version is available or the AWD can be converted to 2WD.
