So I have started on building my new shop (40'x87') and was trying to come up with some ideas of incorporating some engine parts on the inside. I first want one of my workbenchs to have 4 legs that are crankshafts. Going to the salvage yard to find 4 identical (big truck) engines with cranks and flywheels. Have the flywheel sitting on the floor attached to the crank and have the table top attached to the top of the crank. Also thinking of a hat rack made from piston rods. Anybody have any other good ideas of things to make using things like old pistons, cams or any other parts?
