posterboard cuts easy, and duct tapes into place easily.
No seriously.. posterboard for the mock-up, then pull it out and lay fiberglass on it. Or, take the mockup to a local fabricator shop and have it bent for ya..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
