Hub/Bearing Install
What's your technique to pack bearings, install hub on spindle, and adjust properly? I ran the nut down snug, spun the hub to move the grease around, then backed off one castle on the nut. Backing off another castle and I could feel a slight in/out play. So I ran it back in just before snug, and cotter pinned it.

33 years of turning wrenches daily and thats how I've always done it.
Of course the repair manuals would have ya get the torque wrench out.Last edited by HWORRELL; 10-09-2007 at 10:02 AM.
