    I use the metal tape. the frayed ends don't come thru. the hose clamp sounds good.

    I just used good tin snips and cut it,then assembled it..........plus a few bandaids
    Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

    tin snip ant going to cut the stuff i use and if they could they would not be good for very long
