Well, I switched mine to a steel grille out of a '67....Welded it on just fine, thank you..... But hey, don't waste anytime listening to any of us from the been there, done that crowd!!!!!!! Have fun with your project.....Seeing as how you already have all the answers, I'm sure it will be perfect.......
