Well, I switched mine to a steel grille out of a '67....Welded it on just fine, thank you..... But hey, don't waste anytime listening to any of us from the been there, done that crowd!!!!!!! I know what you mean on those body lines on these piece of junk trucks, my 66 F100 has them on the bed and roof of the cab, I will be doing the same thing. Two part seam sealer is another solution but again, it may crack a few years down the road but it IS better than a plain one part in the tube sealer.
