    I am looking to find out what newer style frame works best under a chevy 55-56-57 pick up,

    Probably better off using the original frame and upgrading the suspension and brakes. However, if you're convinced it's easier and cheaper to swap a frame, start measuring wheelbases and see what is the same or can be altered to fit your body.
