I haven't used their hinges, but I have the suicide door safety lock, and it works fine.

Springfield, huh? I grew up in Virden - a bit south of you. Is the North Grand Icy Rootbeer still around?

I BOUGHT THE 3 PEICE HOOD LATCH AND IT WAS A LITTLE TRICKY SETTING UP. I HAD TO ELONGATE THE HINGE MOUNTING SLOTS TO GET THE PIN LOCKS TO ENGAGE. ELONGATING BY HAND WAS A NO NO AS I GOT THEM TO THIN AND I BROKE ONE TRYING TO SET UP THE PIN LOCKS.I CALLED AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND THEY MADE ME A CUSTOM (TO MY DIMENSIONS) HINGE AND SHIPPED EL PRONTO.THEY SAID THANKS FOR YOUR BUSINESS AND NO CHARGES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED.IN OTHER WORDS A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH.I ALSO PURCHASED THE SAFETY LOCKS AND HOOD BOWS (IN ALUMINUM) AND THEY LOOK AND WORK GREAT.

I thought about calling them and asking about a custom latch pin for my 64 . Because of where the latch will be and and the old door hindges are outside of the jam . So Im gonna need something .

I know a lot of guys in Ford truck sites and clubs that use that company a lot for things. Customer service is fine and their products are just as good as anyone else. I'd say go for it. I haven't used them but if you have any problems they will help you out no questions asked.

Im running a little bit behind schedule on this one but just
wanted to put my 2 cents in. I've had good luck in my
experence using Carolina Customs products (door hinges and
side opening hood hinges). If you have questions these guys
    offer good tech support.
