I had a 82 F250 with a 351\C-6 and it had 3.50 gears and it did not do too bad on gas,even though its a 3/4 ton it might not have a full floating rearend as mine did not. They made them with a C clip type rear along with the full floating type and being from a railroad it probably has the full floating with steep gears. Jeff
