    Side hinge hood installation

I have a 46 Chevy pickup that has a one piece hood. The two louvered hood side flaps are to be installed independently and will be removable when required. The problem that I have is a hood hinge that would provide clearance between the hood edge and the side flap when the hood pivots open. It seems that a cam style hinge wouuld be required to swing it up and away. Is there a product available that would provide for this clearance and do you have any installation techniques or recommendations? I would appreciate any help you could give. Thank you. Chevy46plus

Check the net for Dan Fink Metal Works in Huntington Beach, CA. They will have what you need.
