    What am I forgetting?

Well, I been agonizing over this for a long time. Finially got the nerve to do it since I practiced on a donar car. You can see the top laying on the floor in one of the pictures(6). Does it look correct? Would you do anything different?

Looks pretty good. Smart move practicing on the donor, how did that come out? Is that how you ended up with the curvature of the rear cut out?

Why don't you take pictures of every step of the job and keep this thread going? I bet a lot of people could benefit and it would be cool to see it happening. There are a million different ways to do a chop, so a different perspective is always nice to see.

    Body looks great BTW.

Oh, one suggestion. I would do an X pattern with some more bracing to keep things really stiff while the top is off. You've got some in there, but criss crossing it will make sure nothing moves.

The pictures below are how we braced our pickup during chop. Nothing fancy, but it didn't move at all.
