    Dim tail lights

I have the standard 1157 style tail lights with led bulbs. They function properly, but they just aren't very bright at all. What's the deal?

Yeap, had the same problem on my 61 Falcon back in 89. Went through all kinds of ideas (like putting a better reflector surface under the bulb, etc) before the light in my head came on and I redid the grounds. I am not always that slow, but sometimes I will admit to not being the sharpest knife in the drawer.

You must have good grounds from the motor to the body, body to frame and frame back to motor in order for everything electrical to work the way it is supposed to.
