    Rebuilt 383 starting probs

: I recently rebuilt a 383 stroker and am having a hard time starting it. Timing seems right and I've checked for vacuum leaks. Right now the engine runs very rough and will continue to run only if you pump the gas. I wonder if not enough fuel is getting to the injectors.

Check for bent push rods and re-adjusting the valves.
