    Neat tip. I have used copper tubing to make connectors for large gauge wire such as 3/0, 4/0. I flatten one end, round off the corners a drill two holes. One for the size of the terminal that it's going to be attached to and a smaller one on the angle for feeding solder. I think it makes a better connection than crimping.
