I'm in process (for several years now ) of building a model a coupe. My question is about the front spring setup. I bought a '46 to '48 front axle for the spindles however I am thinking about using the axle. However, I want a spring over axle like a model a with split wishbones (also model a) not spring in front. Will the stock size '46 spring work with spring perches through the axle? Specifically the one Speedway sells that lowers it 3".
