I have always liked Ron Francis.....but the cost is out of this world IMO.
The last 2 builds we used http://www.kwikwire.com
and very happy and easy to use. The only thing I dont like is that all wires are connected to the box ...if there is something you do not need you have to cut it off. With RF you run to the fuse box so you just dont attach a wire you dont intend to use

Iceburgh - that very feature about the RF kit is why I bought mine. I ddn't want to have to try to store unnecessary or unused wires. Ron Francis has a new kit for newer cars and trucks (50's and 60's models) called Retro Series Wiring System for under $300. System is designed to be used with a specific engine such as a GM, Ford or Chrylser.
FFM - make sure what ever you decide on, the wires are sufficient to carry the load needed, especially the wiring from the alternator and the starter. Also would be nice to have wires that color coded and/or printed with names of the wire purpose. A lot of wiring companies do that now, but some scrimp on the wire quality.

Anyone used EZwire yet? Painless is another harness that is priced out of this world IMO.There are no stupid questions. But I've seen some really stupid answers.

Well to be as brief as I can the first shoot of color looked good but when I started spraying the clear I discovered all these paint flakes on the hood and back of cab. The 3m plastic sheeting I was...
