not much really I'm pretty new at this just trying to learn. I know I need to get power to the alternator and the coil and ground them. I know the coil has to be on the ignition switch. I have to have power to the starter run through the starter switch. I have to run power to the headlights and tailights as well. What gauge wiring should I run?

If you look on ebay motors under street rod, you can buy a basic 12 circuit harness for a little over $100.00. It's hard to make one for much less than that.

Falconvan has a good idea, but I would further suggest that you make a trip to your local library and in the reference section you should be able to find some books that explain basic wiring. They should also have repair manuals that contain wiring diagrams or maybe Denny might post you up one if he knows what exactly you are planning to run.Ken Thomas
