Usually I use "trim black", from SEM. It is a flat/semigloss black, and a direct replacement for GM's Trim Black. It requires no primer coat, and gets great adhesion.

HRP i shot my Stang suspension with that but it hasn't hit the road yet . I do like the semi gloss look on those parts though .

I worked at a Chevy dealer from '67 through '69, and remembered all of those chassis and body pieces coming in that finish.
