Wish I could find it. My Dad used to have a picture of the ''OSHA approved Carpenter". It's hilarious... Anyone have a clue where it might be on the net, or for that matter anyone ever seen it?? The guy has every safety device known to man, including an armor plated thumb so he doesn't get hurt if he misses the nail and hits his thumb!!!

Good idea clamping it down with a board . But with a board that size the 12 in Dewalt comes into straight lines . Right now i have a chop saw blade in it .

In my humble, and twisted opinion -If you're left handed, get a left-handed saw
I am left handed, and always considered THAT a left handed saw.
It allows the operator to actually SEE where the blade is cutting, rather than using that silly slot in front to follow a line. The slot is completely useless when cutting 2x4s anyway.
But then there aren't a lot of left handed tools on the job and one learns to work with what is available.

i cant believe some of the crazy positions people put themselves in with saws...the other day i saw some of those "people that do jobs that americans wont do".... up in this huge tree, trimming it, with electric sawzalls and no safety ropes whatsoever..... i was just hoping they dont know what a lawsuit is when they fell and at the same time cut their arms off and then sued the owners of the property for everything they had..... i cant wait to see el presidente bush gone..... hopefully an actual conservative republican will get in office and fix this problem.... like Duncan Hunterjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
