actully, a chambered muffler with headders, can make a V8 sound out of a str8 6. I like the sound of the I6's ( I own 2, and no V8's ), but the old Chevy with just glasspacks, is gonna sound like a bumble bee.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

A sixholer with dual exhausts has even firing impulses out of each pipe, making a distinctly different sound than the ragged pulse of a V8. Nothing rattles windows like a Stovebolt with dual straights!

In my opinion, there is no sweeter sound in the automotive world than a 6-cylinder with headers and twice-pipes.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

I'm partial to a 8 with lots of duration!

This is about the fifth time I’ve tried to reply to this thread. It looks like it’s actually working at the moment.
