Keep 'em...Just raise them up a bit. Get them above the roof. If you've got straight pipes without mufflers, then buy Tylenol, you're gonna need it. If you got some kind of muffler system, it shouldn't be so bad.

I'm even looking into a pair of bologna sliced stacks for my 52 F1. Jake Brake? Sure! A couple of bowls of chili and we got us a Jake Brake.

Am I TRYING to look like a trucker??? NO!
I was one for 33 years. I feel right at home with stacks.

18 wheeler stacks on a pick-up...That's a no-no. There are pipes that are meant for a pick-up, and look good if properly installed.

Sorry guys, but I'm an old hot rodder and customizer. I believe that every rodder should build his ride to suite his tastes and not the opinion of the masses. It's what makes us individuals within a common bond.

What you say is true, everyone's ride should be built the way the want it... But he was asking for opinions, seems everyone is giving their honest opinion...

I'd have to say no as well. Looks cleaner without the stacks on there.
