I'm planning on using a remote fill reservor master cylinder on my hot rod project with the master cylinder 90 degree turned under the dashboard.
Wilwood has the best priced master cylinders intended for this use (130 $), but those M/C are not for power brakes.

I have heard from other sources that two master cylinders, (one for the front brakes and one for the rear brakes) will result in a very good braking power even without a power booster.
Wilwood also have a balance bar which make sure the push bar from the brake pedal always push into the two master cylinders with equal force.

This setup would also need smaller space than a large booster.

But is this setup intended mostly for racing, or will it work on a 2800lbs street car (hot rod) as well?
