Mounting a aluminum fuel cell in a across the bed tool box on a truck.
Here is my logic or thoughts on this....it puts the gas above the pump{gravity feed}It protects the fuel tank and makes it harder to steal gas or put sugar in the tank,,by being locked in the tool box.Gets it out of the cab and still leaves room under the back for a spare tire.I can also offset the tank in the box to the passenger side to compensate for driver weight .

Anyone see some tragic reason or law ,not to mount this tank in the tool box or a draw back that I may not be seeing?

It will be secured to the bed and tool box with bolts and a 1/4 inch thick plate under the bed rails to keep it attached in case of impact.
