    hei distributor fits 74 not 73 nova

     



    My 73 Nova 307 is against firewall which hei don't fit. I just found 74 nova with stock 350 and factory hei. Same car what's up with this. It looks like 74 engine more forward. My 75 nova had hei.

    Chevy may have moved the motor forward a little for the HEI. You can make the HEI fit on your '73 by massaging the firewall with a BFH.

    cookster,You can get hei without using the large coil in cap.Check out pertronix dist. they are small us an exteral coil.we have them at www.paradiseroadrc.com
