heat effect on coil overs
I am about to install a Jaguar rear suspension into my 36 chev pickup. I want to know if I powder coat the coils springs will the heat used in the powder coat process affect the tension in the springs

Powder away, the heat cure is only in the 300's. Your springs
will not know it. This is the common way to paint springs.

Is the powder coating flexible enough that it wont crack off?Friends dont let friends drive fords!

Seems to hold on there fairly well. I've got some out there that were installed 4 or 5 years ago, powdercoat on the springs and A-Arms seems to be holding up quite well....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
