    happy new year to all,
been look'n at my 41 chysler(its a windsor 2door 3 window)everyday just try;n to figure out whats going to look best.here are some of the things i'm kicking around.
    1.cut the top off
2chop and add some length to the top
    3.computer hemi/trans/etc
    4.air bags
    5update front and rear ends

i know cutting the top off may sound a little extreme, but its really an ugly top and i don't like the way it looks.
thanks in advance for any help/advise/input

Sure, anything is possible, all it takes is lots of work, time and money. All the things you have outlined are substantial (read expensive) modifications, so as long as your bank account is ok with it, go for it.

I would question if this would be the particular car to make such expensive mods on, but that is just my opinion, and what it would be worth when done.

I'm with Don on this. Those are some expensive mods for that car. Mainly the body work. Do you have any pictures you can post I can't find any of a 3 window??

WELL I DON'T MIND SPENDING THE $$$$.just want to build something and i want to build it good.i am trying to attatch some pics but i have to re-size first.pretty much got a full shop, and have been building all kinds of stuff since before i could drive so most of the work i can do and am smart enough to know when to hire someone else to do stuff that i can't.i think it would look good with just a windshield and sitting on the ground thats kinda what bi'd like to do.i've done about as much research one this car as i could find and it's not popular at all so i figured HOTROD !
thx again will try the pics lat'r

make the top longer, lower, and put 57 T bird portholes windows in the B panel. Wish I could do that photo shop stuff.

How about converting it to a pickup?....kind of an ElCamino/Ranchero style? The body is already proportioned about right. It might look cool with a bed cover, too.

..or a "woodie" wagon, with just the "geenhouse" and tailgate built from wood....except of course the windshield frame.

Whichever you chose, you could tell everyone it's a factory option! LOL! (who would know any different?)

yep thats what it looks like.i thought of strething the roof out as`well, but i traced a drawing from a picture i printed out and then took the top off.thought it looked pretty good kinda like a boatail /cord type almost.its just that roof is just junk IMHO.the fords and chevys of the era just look so good and then some one did this.but i got the car for free ,so i'm starting out in the plus side, not looking to sell or show just want try to turn this into something cool.

    gotta go,jumper627

My suggestion would be this,Be for doing anything to one of our custmers cars. we want to make sure we both are on the same page.so we have a rendering of the car done. this way you can make changes on paper and see exactly what the final product will be. heres who we us .Ben Hermance. Hermance Design
here the last one he did for use and this car is under construction.

PRRC, I see you did a Chrysler convertible, it really looks good.

Do you do rendering for anyone willing to pay your price. I would like to get some ideas for minor mods and graphics for my 48 DeSoto?
