have some questions about sheetmetal work
ok the wheelwell on the quarter of my car is starting to rust. its not bad at all (theres no real metal missing and its not weak in that area). i have some sheetmetal i want to bend up to make a patch. can this be done without all the shaping tools?
this is hard to explain but its gotta follow the wheelwell and still have a little lip at the bottom (like an L) to replace the bottom part of the wheelwell.
if anyone knows what i mean or if you have any sheetmetal forming tips any help will be appreciated

Well, you can always cut away the bad metal and shape a piece of wood to the correct contour, then hammer form a piece of sheet metal around the wood to come up with the correct shape on your patch. Patience in fitting the patch as tight as possible is the key.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
