    Has anyone out there built their own tube a-ams, I am looking for ball joints for my IFS project?

    I did. They're standard Mustang II bolt-in replacements. They aren't beautiful, but some button-head cap screws would have cleaned them up a bit. The car was full fendered anyhow.

    check out the stock car stuff in Speedway,they sell mopar style screw in ball joints,and weld in bungs to install them,Hank

    I am also about to do a tubular on my 56F100 but having to make my own clip as well but Jag based. See my thread re Ally fuel tank in this section.

    I used screw-in balljoints and bungs from these guys.....
    427 SC Cobra Replica, Cobra Kit Car, Cobra Kits

    Then I overbuilt the control arms using 4130 1.125" o.d. X 0.188" wall. Next time I'll use 1.250" X 0.125" for the bottoms and 0.750" X 0.125" for the uppers. The thinner tubing on the upper arms will be aesthetically pleasing.
