If you have a choice, and it appears that you do - the 4 1/2" Ford pattern seems to be the norm with so many running the 8" and 9" Ford diffs and Granada front rotors on Mll front suspensions. Either have the axles redrilled or replaced with the bolt circle pattern you finally choose. The only thing that might be a problem is that many (most?) original Ford axles have a hole about 1" diameter to access the bearing retainer bolts. Also, consider using screw in bolts as well using Gr8 or 9 rather than the press in studs.
