took me a while to post, but the 302 is approx 21" block edge to block edge, 200 I6 is 26.5" exactly block edge to edge, measured across the block deck. water pump on 302 is approx 6" outward from the block, where as the water pump for the 6cyl, might sit out 3" or so, there about equal
