my friend's avenger (not a hotrod, but c'mon)

my friend has a 97 dodge avenger, with v6. her knowledge on it is very limited, but she thinks it she may have tripped the fuel pump shutoff switch when she was messing with her speakers in the trunk. anyone know the details on this switch, where it might be, or how to reset it? thanks

Left hand (drivers side) of the trunk near the drop off, either there, or behind the trim panel right behind the tailights. Tell her to push the little red button back down until it clicks and stays down.

most cars today have a switch in the trunk, in case you get rear ended then the switch will cut the fuel pump off. there should be a reset button on it. look in the trunk, there should be a trap door so you can get to it.

Drop offs are where the trunk floor meets the quarter panel.
