Thread: What TIG welder to buy???????

Christmas came a little early this year. Today the truck showed up with the new Tig, and I had no idea they were so big (and heavy) thing weighs almost 300 lbs. So, I had no choice but to tell Dan to come to my work and bring his utility trailer, because I couldn't handle it alone. I finally settled on the Miller 200. Had to use our forklift to load it.

I figure he is no little kid, and besides, he could be using it for the next two weeks if I gave it to him now, so that is what I did. I haven't seen Dan that excited in a long time, and it felt terrific. I think it blew him away, and I am so glad I made this decision. It was the one he wanted to buy, so it worked out great.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions. You all helped make one guys Christmas a lot happier. (and his Dad's projects a lot cooler, he he)
