Will this work?
Making a 2 speed fan controller ,anything sound fundamentally wrong/or right on track? Use one {spst} relay for power of a dpdt relay to run one side of the fan /low speed / use second {remote switch} pole of {dpdt} relay with the thermostically controlled switch to activate the second pole of the {dtdp} relay.
Heres the idea /key on /key off ,power of the fan .Key on triggers {spst} relay and powers {dpdt} relay to engage full time low speed on fan{no#1 remote pole on {dpdt} relay}.Thermostat comes on at 200 degrees and trips second pole {no#2 remote pole on {dpdt} relay} switching power off of the low side and making contact for the high side.Water temp goes below 200 degrees and thermostat shuts off no#2 pole and that will switch the {dpdt} relay back on to low.Turn the key off and it takes the power away from the {spst} relay and turns system off.Last edited by shawnlee28; 11-09-2006 at 11:27 PM.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
