chevy didnt intend to put v8's in novas at 1st either but other people did it alot.
besides chevy never intedned for 383's to come around they built one now but you get what i am saying. and if i had 50 grand falling out of my ass id have better parts but i dont so i use what i can and it just happens i like what i use

Chevy never intended to build a .125 over 283 bore that is why they brought out a whole new block and engine combo.

You all know as a the 327 4.0 bore x 3.25 stroke.
If you did have 50 k falling out of your a-- then I would think about seeing a proctolgist.
