    34 chevy

I have a 34 chevy with the stock straight I beam front end and im wanting to change it over to disk brakes and make it drive better. I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and maybe can tell me the best cheapest way to go about doing this. I have a 1940 model front end also, which would be best to use to update from kingpin out?I been told that 1953 or54 car backing plates & drums will work with some work on them. Wanting to use a vega steering box, car has 350sbc and a turbo 350 runs good just wanting to make it more drivable, and im wanting to be able to drive with my son after he finishes his blown sbc in a 78 280z.
