I was just trying to save the 300 or 400 $ that a bell straight axel was going to set me back, then I would still have to bye spindles & disc brake setup to go with it.thay tell me that I can put 53or54 chevy car backing plates and drums can work with a little worke. that is on my 1940 chevy spindles. after market chevy parts are hard to find.I have a 1934 coupe highboy just trying to get it to drive better.
