My first question would be, did the old rad cool it adequately?
Your new/used rad might well be plugged. It can be unplugged by a rad shop but by the time you do that, you might find that a new rad might be the better value. I think those rads only go for around $200 Cdn. At which point you might want to consider a three core for an additional 50 bucks.Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.

ThphoonZR is probably right. I was going to have the radiator from my 53 over but it had to be reconditioned. The shop wanted over $300. I bought a NEW aluminum one off Ebay for $250. I'd do some looking around. In the mean time try back flushing the curent one.Charlie
