    Im not sure how your car is made, but you might have to do a little patch work after removing the top, to clean up the newly exposed edges, plasmas are really nice, but pricey, you can get the same result with an angle grinder if you take it slow

    A plasma cutter is probably not your best bet for cutting your top. It is going to cut clear through all layers at once and not necesarily where you want it to. A cutting wheel or sawzall will do it just as quick and much cleaner.
