    I kinda thought that the presence of the two terminals on the top of the alt indicated that it was not a one wire animal. Also that he had a wire hooked to one of them. If I have to get a standard alt I will, just didn't want to contribute too much more to the money pit.

    Thanks loads!!! That is the diagram I was not smart enuf to find.
    Now I can crawl back into my cave and contemplate the issue some more.

    If wired correctly won't the alt start charging immediately or do they still have to reach a certain rpm?
