66' Ford
Hey everyone. Im new to this forum and the hot rodding world. Im 16 and just bought my first truck. A 1966 Ford f-100. Now i have a few questions about it and everything.
1. Does anyone know a good place to get parts for it besides LMC and Mac's?
2. How hard and the cost of going from front drums to front discs?
3. how hard and the cost of going power steering?
4. Anyone have the steps needed to build a bed floor from scratch?
5. um for now that it im sure ill get more soon

There are brake kits available, and even some factory parts that will go on your front end. NPD just recently started handling Ford Pickup sheetmetal, too.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

people use S10 fuel tanks in a lot of trucks, and the filler usally comes through the bed floor on any under bed tank arrangement. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

If they have to ask why, they'll never understand anyway. Good luck on your "slick".
Front discs are as easy (or as hard) as finding a '67 or newer donor with factory discs and swapping. They're hard to find, newer ones like '75 have ball joints, you need the one with king pins. I don't know if the ball joint I-beams will fit, someone else may know.

To get discs you can use 73 to 79 I beams, get the complete I beams as there are different kingpins sizes and its easier to change the complete suspension.if you can find a truck with a sway bar get it as the I beams are different then the ones without making a sway bar easier to install. Since you want to put a 390 in and if your 66 does not have a FE get a donor truck that has a FE as the mounts will work on your 66,basicly the front frames of the 65 to 79s are the same and everything will interchange only the rear of the frame is different as in 73 the frames were widened a bit on the F100s and F250s that are two wheedl drives.
