should be a little place you can put a 3/4" breaker bar, and push it or pull it back ( depends on car ) and slip the belt on, then let it go. 3.0 Ford V6's don'ty have that, you have to loosen the nut on the tensioner then pry it back, and then after it's on, you just reverse the prosess. I'm not shure if the motor mount is in the way or not. www.autozone.com has a free manual service for most cars, it's based off there Alldata and has less information but simple stuff like this is covered. any car with a GM 3800 should do if they don't have '99 Bonneville listed.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
